Storytime at Corinium Museum

Join local children’s author Elka Evalds for a storytelling session that spans the centuries: from Mesopotamian monsters, to ancient Greek myths, to knights in shining armour. Brave children can come to the front and help tell the stories. Ages 5 and up.

This is a free event to celebrate Gloucestershire Libraries Library Challenge. Please pre-book your free tickets here.

Interested in finding out more about The Library Challenge? Read on below to see what's on at the library this summer.

Cirencester Library's theme is Secrets in the Soil and is part of the Cotswolds' 'Lost Worlds & Hidden Treasures' zone. Over summer you'll be able to travel through time, unlock epic stories and collect rewards with this Gloucestershire Libraries activity created especially for families.

The challenge is designed for children aged 3+ and encourages families to explore books, stories, creativity and adventure across Gloucestershire's libraries.

The free activities take place at Cirencester Library and throughout the whole of Gloucestershire. Check out the incredible Tales Through Time map below

During the challenge, children can complete fun activities, collect stamps, earn rewards and work their way towards a special Tales Through Time medal and entry into a prize draw featuring book bundles and vouchers.
