Woodland Wildlings - Outdoor Parent & Toddler Group
A welcoming outdoor group for parents and their youngsters. Set in the beautiful grounds of Barnsley Herb Garden, with access to their herb garden, native woodland, and meadow, there is plenty of space for children and adults to enjoy being outdoors and connect to nature.
Activities will change from week to week but will include:
- Nature-inspired arts and crafts
- Songs and stories
- Gardening
- Feeding the chickens
- Messy play
- Campfires
- Lots of lovely outdoor spaces to explore
We provide refreshments and ensure that there is well-ventilated shelter from the elements, should it be required. There is access to a compost toilet.
The group is led by Rowan Wynne-Jones, an experienced playworker, Forest School leader, teacher and youth worker.
