Wild Christmas - Craft & Play Family Session

Next dates

Sorry, there are no future dates available

Come and get into the festive spirit on this family craft and play day at our Forest School site at Hailey Wood hosted by All Seasons Forest School and Nature Connections.

This is a great opportunity to spend a lovely, relaxed and memorable couple of hours in the wood, working and playing together as a family. We will create a range of Christmassy makes using wood and other natural materials. These are perfect for decorating your own home or giving away as wonderful, hand-made presents. We'll have a campfire, mulled apple juice and a snack to keep us warm. Although the focus will be on the crafts, we'll have our usual outdoor play things with us as well - e.g. the hammock and mud kitchen.

Due to the nature of the session, supervision and support from parents/carers is required at all times but especially during tool use and crafting which is why we recommend a ratio of a maximum of two children per adult.

This day is best suited for children aged 4 years and over although younger children are welcome too. Book in advance here

£15 for one adult and one child, £5 for each additional child (from 18 months) or adult
