The Kate Bush Experience

Kate Bush Experience at The Sundial Theatre!

Saturday 30th September 2023, 7.30pm

Kate Bush’s eclectic and experimental musical style, unconventional lyrics, and literary themes have made her a unique but rarely seen performer. With only one live performance in the last 30 years Kate Bush fans have been left wanting more. Now there is a new wave of followers as ‘Running up that Hill’ recently topped the charts.

The Kate Bush Experience is a collection of highly experienced, professional musicians who recreate the great music and vibe of Ms Bush. Fronted by the very talented Maria Ahearn, The Kate Bush Experience perform all of Kate's hit singles as they would have been originally performed live: ‘Wuthering Heights’, ‘Cloudbusting’, ‘The Man with a Child in His Eyes’, ‘Babooshka’, ‘Running Up That Hill’, and more.

The band also take you back to classic and original album tracks from throughout Kate's career. Songs like the energetic ‘James and the Cold Gun’, ‘Hammer Horror’, ‘Them Heavy People’ and the beautifully serene 'Breathing' and 'Don't Push Your Foot on the Heartbrake'. The Kate Bush Experience will bring you as close as you’re ever likely to get to the legendary artist.

“The band were incredible, completely evoking the sound of that era; mastering the quirky rhythms and even bettering the vocal arrangements. Maria Ahearn, a simple black dress, and bare feet, completely got under the skin of Kate Bush’s highly original songs, singing with joy, passion and soaring the heights in perfect clarity” – Paul Edwards, Hebden bridge
