The CIA Shield

Next dates

  1. Friday, 1 May 2026
    1. 18:30 - 23:00

The inaugural CIA Shield event takes place at Cirencester Rugby Club on Friday 1st May. The event promises an action-packed evening, kicking off at 6.30pm with two minis matches and culminating in a showcase match featuring local girl’s team, The Cotswold Lionesses.

We are thrilled to have Rugby World Cup winner Tatyana Heard as special guest for the evening. It’s set to be an inspiring celebration of grassroots sport and community spirit.

In addition to supporting women and children’s rugby, the evening will also raise funds for Maddy’s Mark, a charity that supports the mental well-being of girls and young women, and funds school programmes to make rugby accessible for all who wish to play.
