Join us on Sunday September 5th 2021 for Abbey900's Statues Blessing Event, a day of celebration blessing Cirencester's new statues!

The original statues have been missing for almost 60 years with the niches being empty all this time. The new statues have been created by sculpture Rodney Munday who brings life and movement into his art. 

Timetable for the day

• 10:00am Choral Eucharist 

• 11:15am Blessing of the Tower Statues by Bishop Rachel

• 12:15am Picnic in the pews (please bring your own food)

• 13.15am Procession and blessing of Abbot and Canon Statues and Monastic Garden in the Abbey Grounds

• 14.00am Play statues in the Abbey Grounds and join in the church yard treasure trail

• Choral Evensong 4pm
