Love Parks Week - Secret Nature Beaky Finders Bird Walk
Next dates
Sorry, there are no future dates available
Join Andy Lewis from the Gloucestershire Naturalists Society as he kicks off the day’s events with a Beaky Finders Guided Bird Walk.
On this feathered safari you will learn to identify the songs and calls of some of our familiar feathered friends, as well as possibly spotting something a little more unusual! We’ll be listening out for alarm calls and keeping our eyes peeled for any birds skulking in the undergrowth. Binoculars are a bonus, although not necessarily essential as Andy’s avian detective skills will help you to identify the culprit.
Everyone is welcome, however places are limited to twenty participants. Please email Cirencester Wildlife Group to reserve your place: wildciren@gmail.com Meet at the main entrance to the City Bank LNR (GL7 1LN) at the bottom of City Bank Rd. at 8am. This is a FREE event, however donations are always welcome – suggested donation £2.
