Between February 2022 and February 2023, Cotswold Archaeology staff excavated Bronze Age to Post Medieval remains at South Cerney in advance of Thames Water constructing a reedbed and wildlife pond to improve water quality. The excavations revealed roundhouses, pits, trackways and water meadows, as well as the historic influence of water on the landscape.
