Make a hand-held Viking sun compass to help you navigate on the high seas at this family drop in at the Corinium Museum.
The Vikings were extraordinarily good sailors and navigators. Many researchers believe that they used hand-held sundials as simple compasses to help them navigate. Create one of your own out of cardboard and test it for yourself.
