Family Drop In: Making Roman Shields

This fun morning drop-in at the Corinium Museum will provide you with the tools to create your own Roman shield!
Shields were often curved to protect the soldier’s body and brightly decorated with special designs to show power. Designs included eagles, lightening bolts and laurel wreaths. Create your own to take home.
