Daniel Bingham Foundation Gallery
Housed within the historic Bingham House, the Daniel Bingham Foundation Gallery gives visitors the opportunity to explore the life of the Foundation’s benefactor Daniel George Bingham and experience a glimpse of the Foundation’s art collection.
The gallery is free to visit and has activity and colouring sheets for families. A beautiful space to soak up some culture and learn more about Cirencester whilst providing fun activities for children.
The permanent display features information about Bingham House and showcases the Foundation’s collection which includes oils, watercolours, drawings, prints, photographs and embroideries.
The Gallery also hosts a series of pop-up exhibitions and events as well as the Daniel Bingham Foundation Annual Exhibition, this year guest curated by local Cirencester based artist Laurie Plant. ‘Contemporary Artwork by Laurie Plant’ brings together selected works about Cirencester, Bingham and the artist’s recent work.
The Daniel Bingham Foundation promotes art, archives and local studies material related to Cirencester.
We are at the heart of Cirencester, where Cirencester's people, history and art come together.
