Saturday 11th June – Farmers’ Market with healthy eating awareness

Sunday 12th June – Vegan Market (Market Place) and Cirencester’s first Pride event (Abbey Grounds)

Monday 13th June – Charter Market, supporting our local community and traders.

Tuesday 14th June – ‘The NHS and Beyond, the Power of Self Care’ – The Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) of various GP surgeries in and around Cirencester have coordinated the day to help people learn more about the support available through the NHS. Focusing on self-care the day will also feature charities and commercial organisations, helping people to better manage all aspects of their lives. Blood pressure, diabetes and physiotherapy assessments will be available on site. Heartwize will be running interactive defibrillator training sessions and the Rotary Club will be conducting guided walks.

Wednesday 15th June – Meet volunteers and staff from the Churn Project, along with other organisations and groups to see how they support the community and find out how to get involved. Various fun activities are planned, including arts & crafts, children’s play sessions, singing, baking stalls, nature skills, gardening with the Phoenix Gardeners and the Foodbank Treasure Trail!
Cirencester Athletics Club is also holding their Summer Sizzler 10k run at Cirencester Park from 7:30 pm.

Thursday 16th June – Charities, support groups, volunteering opportunities, community groups, clubs and interest groups will be showcased on the Market Place with the chance to participate in personal trainer taster sessions and activities like Tai Chi, cheerleading, and theatre and dance. Ability Net will be offering a free technical support service to people living with a disability or impairment.

Friday 17th June – Charter Market, supporting our local community and traders.

Saturday 18th June – Sports & Leisure Groups will feature on the Market Place and Abbey Grounds with sporting, theatre, singing/music, dance and wellbeing activities scheduled throughout the day to watch and join in with. Bike workshops, maintenance tips and cycle skill activities will take place in and around the Abbey Grounds.

Sunday 19th June – Our local Armed Forces will focus on healthy eating, support groups, mental health help and active employment opportunities.
