Butts Farm Rare Breeds, Farm Shop & Tea Room

The Farm is now closed for the winter. The Farm will re-open 1st April 2020.

Welcome to The Butts Farm, where we offer a real hands on animal experience! In addition to seeing lots of rare and traditional farm animals and their young, you can also see our unusual Curly Horses and beautiful Welsh Mountain Ponies.

We love to see the children interacting with the animals as much as possible, offering lots of hand on time. The activites start at 11am with bottle feeding the lambs, followed by bunny cuddles, animal feeding, animal handling and much more!

Join in with the animal activities throughout the day, then sit down, relax and enjoy a delicious cotswold cream tea in our farmyard tea room!

At The Butts Farm you will see rare and traditional breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and poultry. The Farm is open to the public from February - October and attracts some 10,000 visitors per year.

Got Something to Celebrate? Why not do it at The Butts Farm Rare Breeds!

We provide a range of activities for your group to take part in. Bottle feeding the baby animals, grooming the donkeys and stroking the bunnies are some of the things you can do. You will also have use of our indoor Party Room which you can decorate if you wish, where you can set up your celebration party tea.

Prices are £4 per child and £5 per adult with a minimum charge of £65. A deposit of £20 is required at time of booking. Parties can be booked for Saturdays or Sundays from 3pm - 5pm.

Want to have your party here but do your own thing? No problem - we will give you a discount of 10% if you book your party without activities included (minimum charge of £65 still applies). The Party Room will still be included for your use.
