The Barnsley Village Festival returns for its 35th year on Saturday 17th May 2025, bringing together all the charm, creativity, and community spirit that makes this event a highlight of the local calendar. Set in the picturesque village of Barnsley near Cirencester, the festival runs from 10am to 5pm and promises a full day of entertainment, exploration, and family fun.
Explore, taste, and be inspired.
Wander through beautiful open gardens—including the stunning Pig Hotel Grounds, Barnsley Park, Dower House, and Monks Bretton. Enjoy classic cars, vintage tractors, plant and craft stalls, and a mouthwatering selection of teas, cakes, and deli treats. Kids will love the dedicated corner packed with fun, while grown-ups can relax in the beer garden and soak up live music throughout the day.
Live performance? You’re in for a treat.
This year’s headline act is Out of the Blue, Oxford’s internationally acclaimed a cappella group, ready to raise the roof with their energetic and unforgettable performance. And with morris dancers, bell ringers, the Splash of Red choir, and more, there’s no shortage of sights and sounds to enjoy.
All for a good cause.
