Primrose Vale PYO Cheltenham

Primrose Vale is just of the A417 bypass and around a 30 minute drive from Cirencester.

During the summer months you can't beat Primrose Vale for a great activity, that also leaves families with something to take home and enjoy for days afterwards.

PYO Strawberries are now available in abundance at Primrose Vale - head along for a low cost, wholesome activity in the fresh air, pop to the Potting Shed cafe, or play area afterwards to make a day of it.

PYO Fields

Our PYO fields open from late May until October. We offer some fifteen different crops for picking, our most popular being our table top strawberries, which are grown on raised platforms so that the strawberries are easy to pick and there’s no slugs, bugs or mud!

But do not miss these other amazing fruits – raspberries gooseberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, loganberries, tayberries & whitecurrants. Plums, Apples and Pears are also available in the autumn too. We also have super succulent vegetables – sometimes available for PYO – sweetcorn, runner beans, broad beans and french beans.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to allow dogs into our picking fields or children’s play area. Well behaved dogs on a lead are permitted to the front of the farm shop, and around the seating area at the managements discretion – We ask that owners are considerate around other customers.

Primrose Vale Farm shop sells home grown fruit, vegetables and great local produce in the shop throughout the year. During summer they have Pick Your Own fruit and vegetables and - whilst it's quiet during winter - there is a kids play area with swings and slides so this is a nice stop off for some locally sourced, independent shopping where the kids can blow off a bit of steam.

Try the popular Halloween Trail from 24th October – 3rd November, 9am – 4pm (last entry)

You can take part in the super Xmas Tree Rental scheme, which swings into action come December.

There's also a great Easter Trails in the Spring to enjoy the green shoots returning.

Watch this space for more details and follow the Primrose Vale Facebook Page for the latest updates.
