Ingleside - Cirencester's boutique getaway

Ingleside, the new boutique hotel in Cirencester opens this weekend.

Over the years, Ingleside House has had many incarnations including as a private residence, an ammunition office during WWII and a school. This Bank Holiday weekend sees Ingleside open as an 11-bedroom boutique hotel "built on inspirational design, theatrical exuberance and flawless attention to detail, whilst maintaining a beautiful sense of historic warmth”.

Every room has its own unique style with a colourful, contemporary design. From the resident’s lounge with its bold greens and pinks to a deluxe superking bedroom with mellow blues and striking orange. Directors Ian Carling and Rachel Wright have set out to create a luxury environment to bring together the drama of the Barn Theatre and the quality of Téatro Bar & Restaurant.

Ingleside has been reimagined while keeping the important links to its history and heritage. The rooms have been named after people important to the site both past and present, from Iwan Lewis, Artistic Director of The Barn, to Andy Brown who has links with Ingleside going back many years.

The opening of the hotel also means changes for Téatro Bar & Restaurant which will still be open for evening meals and Sunday lunch but will now also be open to both residents and non-residents every morning for breakfasts from 8am to 11am with Brunch ‘til 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.

“Quirky, Elegant and Comfortable”, Ingleside has raised the bar for luxurious accommodation in Cirencester.
